of sampling followed, and he has asked to be
supplied with full details of the method adopted
by Messrs. Daniel C. Griffiths and Company in
order that the matter may be further investigated.

time past these assays have proved inaccurate,
the Governor reports that only one other complaint,
dated the 29th January, 1935, has reached the
Government of Hong Kong since 1927. During 1934
alone, 189 samples of tin were analysed in the
Government Laboratory.
